Since I have been home, I've been playing a lot of disc golf. It is a way to get out and be active with relatively low risk to myself or anyone around me. At my local course, there are two tee signs that are missing for whatever reason. The two holes with missing tee signs are hole 10 and hole 16 (shown above). I have also included an example of a tee sign I found on the internet.
For my project I plan to create tee signs for these two holes. The tee sign shown above is fairly simple, but they usually contain information like hole distance, par strokes, out of bounds and even an elevation profile.
When I view this blog there's missing/un-linked images for the first two so I cannot see them. That being said, this is a cool out-of-the-box idea. Would you be physically making new signs, or would you be making digital images of what the new signs could be? I worked at a sign-making company for a little while and as a junior designer the salesmen would take photographs of the buildings or land that needed a new sign and we would use our signage program to make a composite of what their building/area would look like with our design (along with dimensions/measurements and other details). Great idea, especially knowing that it has a real impact on your personal recreational life.
